Briefly describe your responsibilities: I work in Human Resources.
What do you consider your highest responsibility, skill or career achievement so far?:
Being part of a start up operation of Amy's Kitchen.
Organizations/Activities/Community Involvement: American Legion Baseball - participation on the parent Board of Directors, Senior Citizen Olympics - serving food to those participating in the SE Idaho Olympics,
Portneuf Valley Paintfest - Captain for Amy's Kitchen team and participant in painting homes,
Society of Human Resource Management - member
Why do you want to participate in, and what do you hope to gain from Leadership Pocatello-Chubbuck?:
I hope to learn more about the community, businesses and to build partnerships with others. I look forward to the opportunity to volunteer by participating on committees to help others through community service. It would be a great way to learn additional leadership skills and apply those skills in my day to day responsibilities at Amy's Kitchen. By working with others in the program, I could learn more about other businesses and organizations.
Amy's Kitchen has sponsored a tour for the Leadership Pocatello-Chubbuck and the participants all speak very highly of the program and seemed engaged. This positive environment is something I would enjoy being part of.
